Student athletes from the south-central region were outstanding as Jamaica again outclassed the Caribbean region at track and field’s junior level, topping the Carifta Games medal table for the 33rd year in a row. Jamaica won 86 medals for the third-straight year, finishing with 39 gold, 28 silver and 19 bronze.
